Information for migrant workers and employers

The MINEM Project DVD Working in the East of England: Information for migrant workers and employers was produced for MINEM/Community Action Dacorum by Serious Media Ltd.  This DVD is a unique information tool for migrant workers, advice workers, employers and policy makers. In it you will meet women and men from across Europe who share their personal stories of living and working in the region and offer invaluable advice to anyone thinking about moving to the UK for work. Information providers, recruitment consultants and others offer advice on a wide range of issues such as how to recognize a good recruitment agency and getting a job. Employers from different sectors talk openly about why and how they have recruited migrant workers and share their experiences. And, policy makers talk about the importance of migrant workers to the East of England and the many benefits of diversity for the region.
